Jointly organized by The Asian Development Bank (ADB), Impact Investment Exchange Asia (IIX), and held in conjunction with the annual Global Social Venture Competition of Thailand, the two-day Impact Forum for Social Change raised awareness and improved understanding of the role social enterprises and impact investment plays in creating sustainable social and environmental change. The Thailand Impact Forum also focused on the growth of the social capital markets in scaling sustainable solutions in Asia and the role ecosystem players have in contributing to a vibrant impact investing and social enterprise development.

Participants

The Forum brought together more than 75 participants from the government, development agencies, Social Enterprises, Impact Investors and ecosystem players (bankers, lawyers, auditors, accountants, foundations, multinationals).

Global Social Venture Competition

Thammasat University also hosted its fourth annual Global Social Venture Competition – Southeast Asia. University students from seven countries teamed up to join the competition and 10 finalists, including four Thai teams, showcased their plans.
