Impact Quarterly Issue 14: From Niche to Mass             View it in your browser.

July 2014

Dear Friend,

As I sit and write this, on the back of our 2014 Forum, I cannot help but feel immense gratitude for all that we have achieved and excitement for what lies ahead. Hosted across two continents, in Singapore and Paris, Impact Forum 2014 has been our most successful forum yet – with 500 delegates from 36 countries coming together to discuss how we can take impact investing ‘from niche to mass’.

If google trends is anything to go by, the term ‘impact investing’ is going mainstream – see the chart here. However, as our 2014 Forum emphasized, achieving this is not just about the 1 trillion dollars – it is also about the 1 billion lives that need to be impacted.

I want to thank you all for the important role that you have played in making the 2014 Forum a success. I hope you enjoy the Impact Quarterly (IQ) Summer Edition which will give you a flavour of some of the exciting forum panel discussions. I would also like to thank our summer team, in particular Priyanka Verma, for putting this IQ together.

Warm wishes from the evergreen and luscious Singapore,
