Prior to IIX, Natasha worked at D.E. Shaw & Co., a New York-based hedge fund with operations in India, Japan and the United Kingdom. At D.E. Shaw India, she straddled two teams, Investor Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As part of Investor Relations, she handled +500 client accounts from across the globe, was directly responsible for managing consultant databases and ensured compliance with Blue-Sky laws. As part of the CSR department, Natasha was responsible for the annual strategic plan, organizing employee engagement events and executing joint-initiatives with +10 local NGOs.
Natasha is also a Trustee of the Shades of Happiness Foundation (SoHF), for which she founded and spearheaded operations in Hyderabad from 2010-2014 with the mission to empower under-privileged children in India. Under her leadership, SoHF Hyderabad supported +250 direct beneficiaries from slums, orphanages and local government schools.
Natasha is an active writer for Passle.com, where she voices her opinion about creating sustainable social impact, the advent of the Anthropocene and women empowerment – all issues that she is extremely passionate about.
Natasha holds a M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, graduated with distinction and merited a spot on the Dean’s List (MT, TT). She also co-chaired the Social Impact Oxford Business Network, winning a BNY-Mellon award for her efforts, and is part of the Impact Business Leader Oxford cohort for 2014. Natasha also holds a Masters in Business Law from National Law School, Bangalore.
