THAILAND IMPACT FORUM FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

Jointly organized by The Asian Development Bank (ADB), Impact Investment Exchange Asia (IIX), and
held in conjunction with the annual Global Social Venture Competition of Thailand, the two day Impact forum for social change, raised awareness and improved understanding of the role of Social Enterprises and impact investment, measurement of social impact and market readiness of social enterprises in Thailand. It also highlighted possible platforms to bring social enterprises together with impact investors.
The Forum brought together more than 75 participants from the government, development agencies,
Social Enterprises, Impact Investors and ecosystem players (bankers, lawyers, auditors, accountants, foundations, multinationals).
Global Social Venture Competition
Thammasat University also hosted its fourth annual Global Social Venture Competition - Southeast Asia.
University students from seven countries teamed up to join the competition and 10 finalists, including four
Thai teams, showcased their plans.
